Since 2010, the Garesio family has acquired approximately 64 hectares of land, 21 of which under vines, divided among Serralunga d’Alba, the heart of Barolo, Perletto in Alta Langa, Incisa Scapaccino and Castelnuovo Calcea in Monferrato. Along with the vineyards, the Garesio family has undertaken the job of renovating and upgrading an old farmstead in Serralunga d’Alba. The aim of this top quality hospitality project is the creation of a place where wine becomes a daily experience, a full immersion in the flavors, nature, traditions and history of an area designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014.
Balance, respect, and a deep understanding of vines and vineyards: Garesio “raw” material is naturally excellent. Each plot of land within the property has its own identity card and its own development, which is encouraged without excessive interference or manipulation. Their Nebbiolo vineyards are certified organic, an act of love and devotion towards one of the world’s rarest and most prized terroirs; the other vineyards are managed according to sustainable viticulture.
Winemaking: VINEYARD: Grapes from the vineyards in Castelnuovo Calcea, few kilometers from Nizza Monferrato. Careful thinning out. VINIFICATION: Fermentation and maceration at low temperature in contact with the skins for about 20 days, pumping over and délestage. AGEING: in French oak barriques for about 12 months. The ratio of used and new woods varies in accordance with the characteristics of the wine, normally around 10% of new wood used.

- Nose and flavour: Intense and complex aromas of red fruit, typical of the variety. Hints of strawberry and cherry. It is harmonious and fresh with good acidity in the mouth.
