La Casa de Lúculo has not only recovered but reinvented the Garnacha wine from Navarra thanks to a winemaking style that focuses on the respect for the variety way more than on creating a recognizable winemaking signature.
Winemaking: Cold decanting by gravity, during 24 hours. Fermentation in French oak. Wine stays in contact with its own lees, during the three-month ageing process.
- Colour: Bright lemon with green hues.
- Nose and flavour: Citric-driven nose with notes of white flowers. Rich palate of juicy pear flavours that lead into herbal notes and oak-characteristic flavours such as nuts and brioche. Medium bodied and well structured with high acidity and persistent finish.
- Serving Temperature and Food Matching Serving temperature: 8-10°C.
- Recommended with: Soft creamy cheeses like Camembert and nutty cheeses such as Gruyère.
