La Casa de Lúculo controls the most spectacular old vineyards of Baja Montaña region which we elaborate our flagship wines with. Located in the most northern part of Navarra (predominantly with Garnacha vineyards). It is this variety which best stands the harsh Atlantic influence and which, at the same time, determines the character of the vineyards, its grapes and the wines. Organically-grown bush vines of Garnacha and Tempranillo that have been worked and harvested by the same family hands ever. Some of these unique vineyards are well beyond 100 years old.

Winemaking: Malolactic fermentation in French oak barriques. 8-10 months ageing in French oak barrels of 225 litres to preserve its fruit quality.

Organoleptic Characteristics

  • Colour: Garnet with a purple rim.
  • Nose and flavour: Dark cherry aromas surrounded by red and blue flowers – violet. Fresh and perfumed on the nose, fresh and elegant on the palate with development of spice, some tobacco and vanilla of the well-integrated oak.
