What distinguishes Cartemisia from other Prosecco is the extra time that the wine gets rested on its yeast trap. The time on the yeast trap gives the wine more texture and a longer flavor. The method is reminiscent of the same method used for sparkling wine in Franciacorta and Trentino. Cartemisia grows well in the bottle and can be stored for a few years.
- Nose and flavour: Nice, fresh and fruity scent with a touch of apple, yellow juicy plums and melon. Dry, very fresh flavor with balanced fruitiness.
